Developers, Apple Seed Testers and Public Beta testers all run a wide variety of third-party software over several months of testing. I can assure you that this was not the case. It appears to me that during the beta testing, not much more that Apple products were tested. However, Apple needs to realize that we are paying customers and need for them to stop following Microsoft's arrogant take it or leave it attitude, which made so very many people angry with that company and caused them, including myself, to switch to Apple in the first place. Please understand that I am not attempting to unnessarily critisize Apple. I really hope Apple puts a bit more effort to rolling out a fully functioning system instead of the apparent beta they have pushed out to the public. However, despite the 10.11.1 release and updates from MS on office 2011, El Capitan 10.11.1 reminds me of the bug-ridden, trouble-prone Windows 95 in the mid 90's. I, along with my wife, made the switch to Apple several years ago. Every one of these applications were functioning normally until the El Capitan upgrade. However, I neither have the time nor the energy to launch exhaustive enquiries with each and every application developer to determine what may be the problem.
